*2022 Eco Council
We are working towards our Eco Schools awards, the first step of which was to carry out an environmental review of the school. The Eco-Council will now share the results of the review with the school and choose three key areas which we will work on to improve, with the help of the whole school community.

ECO-EVENTS
ENVIRONMENT DAY
In November, we celebrated our first Environment Day to raise awareness of environmental issues and learn about small steps that we can all take to become more sustainable. There were many different activities for the children to have a go at including making reusable bags, creating Christmas decorations from natural materials and designing a zero waste packed lunch.
JUST ONE TREE
Also in November, the whole school came to school wearing green for a day to raise money for the charity Just One Tree. We raised over £300 which will go towards planting 300 trees in areas which have lost so much of their rainforests including Madagascar.
